Do you accept credit cards?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Solo, Maestro and Visa Electron). There is a 3% surcharge for the use of "credit cards" and fee free for "debit cards". Payment can also be made by BACS and by cheque. Please note that no goods will be dispatched until cleared funds have been received.
Can I get a VAT receipt?
Each order is shipped with a sales receipt including VAT information.

Where can I use Duratecstone?
DuratecStone tiles can be used anywhere such as kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, living rooms and patios.
Are all DuratecStone floor tiles suitable for both walls and floors?
All our floor tiles are suitable for use on walls and floors.
Can we lay on existing tiles?
Yes in many circumstances, following appropriate advice from a qualified fitter.
Can I tile on to a wooden floor?
The wooden floor where the floor tiles are going on to must be sound with no flexing. Firstly we would recommend overlaying the floor with 9mm minimum plywood, screwed at 200mm centers. Then you should apply one coat of primer to the wood and allow to dry (it will depend on the adhesive you are using as to whether this is necessary). Then we would recommend solid bed fixing the tiles with cement based flexible adhesive. The floor must be dry fully before grouting (minimum of 24 hours). Then we would recommend using a cement based wide joint grout with added flexibility.

Does white grout discolor easy on the floor?
Depending where you are planning to use the white grout, its not advisable for it to go on the floors where there will be a lot of traffic, or where it may be leading in from the garden, because it will get dirty very quickly, you can use all types of sealants and cleaners but it will never stay clean.
How do I lay the DuratecStone?
It is always advisable to employ a professional fitter to install the product.
Will the sample I receive be exactly the same as the product I receive?
All samples are a general indication only of texture and colour but can be used as guidelines only.
How much should I allow for "cuts & wastage"?
Once you have measured your room, you should add at least 10% onto the exact room measurements for cuts & wastage.
How do I get a quote?
Call us and ask to speak with a sales representative. Please have to hand the quantity of tiles you require, along with their size(s), and any requirements for adhesive grout. Somebody will either give you a quote on the spot or if none of the sales team are available, give you a call back.
We keep a record of all quotes so you can call back with confidence once you have made your decision.
If I supply the measurements could you calculate the area for me?
Yes, if you email us or call us.
Are there any discounts for bulk purchases?
We are able to offer some discount on large orders. The sales team will quote you according to your requirements.
Do you offer trade discounts?
We have many trade customers who benefit from discounts at different levels. If you are a tiler, builder, developer, architect etc, please let the sales staff know when you call. Please note we do not give credit under any circumstances.
How do I place an order?
Please call 01206541535 and ask to speak to one of the sales team. If you have already been given a quote, have these details to hand. A member of the team will take all the necessary details from you and discuss any specific requirements.
Remember to take a wastage factor into account for each project prior to ordering. This is normally 10% which should allow for cuts to walls and any minor tile imperfections.
How long is the order time?
This depends on stock levels at the time of ordering, and on the delivery service selected. In stock items are generally can be delivered within 7 working days. Non stock / out of stock items will incur a lead time from our factory in Italy.
How will my tiles be delivered?
All orders are dispatched on pallets and are delivered through the “pallet network” – these are outside companies working on our behalf.
DuratecStone tiles are very heavy and as such deliveries are made using large lorries. We must be notified of any restricted access details prior to dispatch as we can request a smaller vehicle if necessary.
Each pallet will be delivered to the nearest and safest point of entry to the property. Deliveries on drives etc will be at the discretion of the delivery driver — they will do their best to assist you in getting the goods to the nearest desirable point. Pallets are offloaded on a "tail lift" using a manual pallet truck. This truck will not move across gravel or rough ground. The delivery driver cannot help handle the goods so it is essential for you to arrange for a responsible individual to be present.
All orders must be examined on delivery and any shortages, damages or other discrepancies must be noted on the delivery note and reported to AFC within the specified time period.
Do you deliver and if so is there a charge?
Our standard delivery charge is £50 + VAT, with various other delivery options available.
Can I collect my order from the warehouse?
Collections can be made from our Rowhedge warehouse by prior arrangement. Please ensure that a suitable vehicle is used whereby goods can be mechanically loaded. Collected goods are transported at the individual's own risk.
Do I need to be present at the time of delivery?
It is important that you are available at the time of delivery, the delivery driver cannot handle the goods, so it is essential that you are there to receive the goods. All orders must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or other discrepancies must be noted on the delivery note and reported to Classical flagstones within three days of receipt.
What happens if my tiles are damaged when they arrive?
You must check the goods thoroughly when they arrive. In the unlikely event that any are damaged, simply write “DAMAGED” on the delivery note and nothing else. You must notify AFC of ALL damages within 24hrs of receiving your goods. No claim will be entered into after this time.

How do I clean my DuratecStone tiles?
You should use soap based cleaning products to clean your tiles (available in most DIY stores and supermarkets).
Could I return any unused tiles?
Yes, within our terms and conditions.
Do you have a returns policy?
We operate a "no returns policy" for surplus tiles and cannot be held responsible for surplus goods as quantities are estimates only. It is your responsibility to ensure you have ordered the correct amount. This is typically wall/floor area plus 10%. Remember, it's better to have more than less as ordering more will incur extra delivery charges.
Under certain circumstances, we will accept back unwanted orders. They must be packed as they arrived as they will have to travel back to us without being damaged. The courier that delivered them will also collect them. We regret that we are unable to accept returns if the courier is unable to get the order back onto his vehicle with the use of a manual pump truck. None of our delivery vehicles have “fork lift” or “hiab” (long arm) capability. When the goods arrive back at our warehouse, they will be checked for damage and shortages. Once everything has been confirmed OK, you will be refunded the value of your order LESS any delivery/collection charges and A collection charge of £40 and a handling charge of 20% would be added to anything you wish to return.
